Bee nice Doja Cat.
The rapper poked fun at the infamous moment during Amber Heard’s defamation trial against Johnny Depp where the “Aquaman” actress talked about her dog being stung by a bee.
“It’s honestly hella sad ’cause like, she’s a puppy, my dog. And I’ve had her for like a week and a half, maybe two weeks now. And she like, was just running around in the grass, and she steps on a bee,” Doja, 26, said in a video posted to her TikTok.
The “Say So” artist decided to razz Heard, telling her fans, “So ya’ll know what time it is. Ya’ll know what f-king time it is. you know what time it is!”
She then proceeds to repeat the line, “My dog stepped on a bee,” and squint her eyes, mimicking Heard’s testimony against Depp in May.
“My dog stepped on a bee,” Doja said with a twitch. “She stepped on af-king bee”. My dog stepped on a bee!”
Doja captioned the video, writing, “I, as a dog owner, can finally say it with sincerity..,” referring to Heard’s comments about her dog’s bee sting.
Heard, 36, was dragged by viewers after shely flinched while describing her strange dog stepping on a bee in May.
“We walked out of the trailer at some point, my dog stepped on a bee,” Heard said while quickly squeezing her eyes tightly closed and jerking her head. “We went to the vet,” she added, shaking her head, continuing, “and went on with our you know, vacation.”
Heard told the story during the highly televised defamation trial against the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, which lasted nearly six weeks.
Depp, 59, sued Heard for $50 million for defamation over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post about surviving domestic violence, saying he wanted to “clear [his] name.”
While the actor wasn’t named in the piece, Depp — who was married to Heard from 2015 to 2017 — alleges his ex fabricated abuse claims in an attempt to score a huge divorce settlement, which he claims has damaged his career.
During the trial, Heard — who filed to divorce Depp in May 2016 after less than two years of marriage — repeatedly alleged that Depp physically abused her, claiming threatened her life, though Depp vehemently denied the allegations.
In June, Depp won the case and was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Meanwhile, Heard had a minor victory herself in her countersuit against Depp with the jury awarding her $2 million for compensatory damages, but $0 in punitive damages.
“The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband,” Heard said in a statement after her loss.
She is currently asking for the verdict to be dropped.
